James A. Eshelman has been a writer and teacher of occult and metaphysical subjects for over 35 years, including astrology, magick, yoga, Qabalah, tarot, occult psychology, and related Hermetic subjects.

His writings include Interpreting Solar Returns (1985), The Mystical and Magical System of the A.'.A.'. (2000), 776 1/2: Tables of Correspondences for Practical Ceremonial (2010), and his latest, Visions & Voices: Aleister Crowley's Visions with Astrological and Qabalistic Commentary (2011).

In 1909, the poet, adventurer, and occultist Aleister Crowley, with his student, the poet Victor Neuberg, obtained a series of visions -beautiful, enigmatic, and powerful.

James A. Eshelman, lifelong student and practitioner of Crowley's mystical and magical techniques, and noted sidereal astrologer, will be sharing his unique and thought-provoking insights on the visions,
based on the Hermetic symbolism of the visions as well as the astrological influences prevailing at the time they were received.

Mr. Eshelman is Chancellor of the College of Thelema, and Prolocutor General of the Temple of Thelema. He will be giving a talk and signing books in Seattle on Saturday, June 18, from 6 to 8 pm at Edge of the Circle Books, 701 E. Pike St., on the corner of Boylston Avenue, just two blocks west of Broadway, on Capitol Hill.
