A ROSE VEILED IN BLACK
Art and Arcana of Our Lady Babalon
Edited by Robert Fitzgerald and Daniel A. Schulke
Three Hands Press, 2015.
A Fine Premium Cloth Volume in Dust Jacket.
Designed and produced to the highest standard, the book is 264 pages, with numerous images in both color and black and white.
Standard hardcover edition with dust jacket, limited to 1,092 copies.
List Price: $58.50

FROM THE PUBLISHER:
The Lady Babalon is one of the more enigmatic figures in the Cult of Thelema. She is a manifold deity in the sense that She is a divine harlot, an initiatrix, a creator and a destroyer. In representative form, the letters of Her name encompass an heptogrammic star; yet She lies beyond mere representation, and Her star signifies only the powers of Her train and not the station of Her immanence. She is the unsignified, a cipher conveying manifestation, and yet the veritable seal of the invisible Order of Illuminated Adepts. In Her subtle and etheric anatomy flows the life-blood of the Saints – the All-Living – and in this is Her deepest mystery, for, as it is written, in the Gospels, and in Aleister Crowley's Liber 418, ‘The Blood is the Life.”

A ROSE VEILED IN BLACK is the second volume in Three Hands Press' Western Esotericism in Context Series which began with Hands of Apostasy. The book is a potent gathering of twelve essays and rituals of Babalon by scholars, practitioners, and allies of Thelema, dedicated wholly unto the manifest contemplation of Her Mystery. Exploring occult themes of sacrifice, magical liberation, prophecy, witchcraft, and abomination, it marks a watershed publication for the discourse on this important and previously neglected aspect of Thelemic Studies. The written works are enhanced by an offering of original and visionary art from contemporary practitioners, each exploring Her magical arcana from a ritually embodied perspective.

THE CHAOS PROTOCOLS:
Magical Techniques for Navigating the New Economic Reality
By Gordon White
Paperback: 240 pages
Publisher: Llewellyn Publications (April 8, 2016)
List Price: $17.99

FROM THE PUBLISHER:
The years since the financial crash have seen the realization dawn that the great promise of modern civilization will go unfulfilled. Study hard, work hard, buy a house, retire happy. It's all a lie, spun for the benefit of a tiny elite. The richest eighty-five people on earth have as much wealth as the poorest 3.5 billion. Each month, the numbers change but they never improve.

Magical and spiritual discourse has failed to keep up with this new reality. The Chaos Protocols aims to fix that.

Join Gordon White as he shows you how to use chaos magic not only to navigate these trying times, but to triumph as well. Discover how to become invincible through initiation, and wage the mind war that will keep you moving toward what you really want. From sigil magic to working with spiritual allies, The Chaos Protocols helps you act on the unwavering belief that your life should matter and you're not going to let something as trifling as the apocalypse get in the way of it.

Praise:
"Gordon White gives a master class on the hard economic realities and the kind of low down and dirty magic for which he has become famous. Pragmatic, sharp, and funny, The Chaos Protocols is a treasure of a book."―Peter Grey, author of Apocalyptic Witchcraft

"Take two parts Magick Without Tears, a measure of The Wealth of Nations, a pinch of Ian Fleming and a dash of Noel Coward and you have this almost promiscuously readable text. Whoever said books on magick can't be fabulously entertaining as well as eminently practical has obviously not read up on their Gordon White. Remedy that situation."―Chris Knowles, author of The Secret History of Rock n' Roll and Our Gods Wear Spandex

THE ART AND SCIENCE OF HAND READING:
Classical Methods for Self-Discovery through Palmistry
By Ellen Goldberg and Dorian Bergen
Hardcover: 544 pages
Publisher: Destiny Books (February 6, 2016)
List Price: $35.00

FROM THE PUBLISHER:
A comprehensive guide to the inner psychology revealed by the hand

• Details how to interpret the entire hand--the shape of the palm and fingers, mounts, lines, fingerprints, flexibility, nails, and skin texture

• Reveals the personality archetypes, strengths, and weaknesses connected with each of the seven mounts and how the rest of the hand modifies these traits

• Explains how lines change and the decisive influence of the person’s own mind in healing defects found on the lines

Palmistry is a science and a universal language. The hand tells a story about your talents, relationships, health, and how you feel about yourself. It reveals periods of ease or challenge in your life, and it speaks about your weaknesses and the traits you need to develop. As you change, so do your hands, reflecting the progress you have made.

In this comprehensive guide to hand reading, based on Ellen Goldberg’s 40 years of teaching palmistry and the Western Mystery tradition, the authors make the powerful insights of the hand accessible in an inviting and user-friendly manner. The book presents the character traits and personality archetypes associated with each of the seven mounts of the palm and shows how to determine which are most influential in the nature of the individual. The mount archetypes reveal the lifestyle, love, sex, and marriage preferences; the best career choices; and the unique strengths and weaknesses for each person. The book also examines other factors that enhance the qualities revealed by the mount types, including the flexibility of the hand, texture of the skin, and the shapes of the fingers, fingertips, and nails. The meaning of each major and minor line is described in detail as well as the influence the person’s own mind has in healing defects and obstacles found on their lines. The authors also provide accurate timing guides for each line, making it possible to locate specific events and to see how your lines change over time.

Presenting the hand as a guide to self-fulfillment, The Art and Science of Hand Reading incorporates correspondences to other mystical sciences such as astrology, Kabbalah, the Hermetic teachings, and archetypal psychology. It also includes practical examples and more than 600 illustrations to show how to integrate the meanings of each part of the hand to form a complete picture of your inner psychology and your ever-changing destiny.

DALI: TAROT UNIVERSAL
By Johannes Fiebig
Publisher: Taschen America, LLC Publication date: 10/01/2014
78 card deck and booklet
List Price: $29.95

FROM THE PUBLISHER:
Magician, death and the moon: Surrealism meets Symbolism in Salvador Dalí's Tarot deck

Legend has it that when preparing props for the James Bond film Live and Let Die, producer Albert Broccoli commissioned Surrealist maestro Salvador Dalí to create a custom deck of Tarot cards. Likely inspired by his wife Gala, who nurtured his interest in mysticism, Dalí eagerly got to work, and continued the project of his own accord when the contractual deal fell through.

The work was published in a limited art edition in 1984, the first-known Tarot deck completed by a well-known painter. Dating back to the Renaissance era, Tarot—thought by some to be an interpretation of dreams or a foretelling of the future—had seen a new surge of popularity during the 1970s hippie movement. Here, Taschen resurrects Dalí's fascinating deck of 78 cards, featuring compelling renditions of such characters and symbols as the Magician, the Lovers, the Moon, Death, the High Priest, and the Empress, in collage designs of drawings, icons, and color splashes. The deck is accompanied by a booklet by renowned German Tarot author Johannes Fiebig.

Text in English, French, and German.
