Ekklesía Antínoou Foundation Day Ritual ALL ARE WELCOME! The Ekklesía Antínoou is a queer, Graeco-Roman-Egyptian syncretist reconstructionist polytheist group dedicated to Antinous, the deified lover of the Emperor Hadrian. We are open to people of all races, religions, genders, sexual orientations, political stances, and disability statuses. Foundation Day is our most important holy-day of the year, mourning the death and celebrating the deification of the Beloved Boy of Bithynia. For the ritual, bring a small coin offering, a small stone (which will be cast away), small percussion instruments (if you know how to play them!), and any food offerings you might want to add to the altar…but most importantly, your enthusiasm, respect, and enjoyment!
