The Central Puget Sound region has a very large, diverse
community of Pagans, Wiccans, Druids, Shamans, Witches, Heathens, Healers and
Earth-Based Spiritualists. Many people
have no idea how large our community really is.
There are 86 Public Pagan groups, 19 Pagan Stores and 992 Pagan
events/classes scheduled for the rest of the year listed on www.witchvox.com
You can spend days on Yahoo meet-up and Facebook going
through pages of Seattle /Tacoma/ Olympia Paganism/ Witchcraft/ Earth-based
Spirituality. The days of hiding in the
“broom closet” are fading away, and our community grows daily. This year we are expecting between
2,000-4,000 people. Pagan Pride Day
brings our community together and is the perfect opportunity to educate,
answers questions, and share experiences with the public. It is a fun-filled day of fellowship,
workshops, live entertainment, children activities, rituals, drum circle,
classes and merchant booths. This will be the largest Pagan Pride Day in our official
9 year history. Our diverse communities
are coming together for this special day.
We have groups, vendors and performers that are coming from Kirkland,
Seattle, Poulsbo, Auburn, Tacoma, Olympia, and Friday Harbor. This will be the first time in our history
that we will be having a two day event, so there will be more opportunities to
shop, attend workshops, rituals, presentations, watch live entertainment and
most importantly build community and fellowship. As of 28 July 2015 we have 47
Vendors/Merchants/Healers, 16 Classes/Workshops, 11 sets of live entertainment,
2 drum circles, silent auction and kid’s activities.
Central Puget Sound Pagan Pride Day (CPSPPD) is a part of
the worldwide Pagan Pride Project, www.paganpride.org. Pagan Pride
promotes tolerance and understanding between those of different belief systems
through education, activism, charity and community. For pagans, the event can
help you meet other like-minded individuals, as well as learn about other paths
by attending a public ritual. Those who are interested in Paganism can connect
with teachers and groups, or attend workshops on many pagan related topics.
Non-Pagans will find that the Pagan Pride event can help them understand their
pagan friends, coworkers, family members, neighbors and others that they come
in contact with every day.
The
Central Puget Sound Pagan Pride event brings together Pagans from all paths in
a safe environment. Together we will gather, learn, celebrate and honor our
diversity and the divinity within.

inheritors, from the infamous Aleister Crowley to Franz Bardon and Kenneth
Grant. Crafters of the New Witch: Founders and scions of the modern Witchcraft

THE PRACTICAL ART OF DIVINE MAGIC:
Contemporary & Ancient Techniques of
Theurgy
By Patrick Dunn
Paperback: 336
pages
Publisher:
Llewellyn Publications (August 8, 2015)
List Price: $
19.99
FROM THE
PUBLISHER:
The ancient
world of Egypt, Greece, and Rome was home to a set of magical and spiritual
technologies, called theurgy, that unite the practice of magic with the aims of
religion. Theurgy, or "godwork," is the art of creating a stronger
bond between the theurgist and his or her deities. The results of this stronger
bond were imminently practical: stronger magic, more meaningful existence, and
a better life. With the fall of Rome,
these techniques faded into obscurity, and many of them were lost forever.
This book
revives, restores, and reinvents these practices for a contemporary pagan or
magical practitioner. A mixture of scholarly research and examination of source
texts and daring experimentation and extrapolation leads to a complete and
workable system that can inform a variety of practices, all presented in a
relaxed, lighthearted, and readable way.
Whether you
practice witchcraft, ceremonial magic, or chaos magic, you can benefit from the
practice of theurgy. You will learn techniques to create stronger bonds with
divine forces, call up and communicate with spiritual beings, summon a magical
assistant, create statues imbued with divine spirit, and master your own mind.
The ultimate goal is union with the divine, but theurgy is a practical path,
and every step on that path is designed to improve your life.

TAROT READINGS /
SPIRITUAL ADVICE
UNCOMMONSENSE
TAROT
Tarot readings
by Erica (Raven) Branch-Butler~
"I've been
reading Tarot for more than thirty years, and reading professionally at the
Edge for a decade. My belief is that Tarot is best used for putting you in
touch with your own subconscious, allowing you to make healthy decisions that
can change your life for the better. My readings tend to be rather
commonsensical. They are often geared toward helping the client deal with the
often self-imposed obstacles in their lives in a healthy, self –affirming way,
so that they can achieve their goals and fully enjoy the fruits that life has
to bring."
