AHA !
The Sevenfold Mystery of the Ineffable Love
By Aleister Crowley, Israel Regardie, Frater Achad, J. Daniel Gunther, James Wasserman
Publisher: New Falcon Publications, October, 2014
112 pages, Paperback
List Price:$21.95

FROM THE PUBLISHER:
Aleister Crowley considered AHA! “my greatest magical poem.”

This profoundly esoteric work highlights the two central experiences of the Path of the Wise—the Knowledge and Conversation of the Holy Guardian Angel and the Crossing of the Abyss. It also marks Crowley’s final acceptance of the mysteries of The Book of the Law, and offers his overview of Initiation and the techniques by which Spiritual Enlightenment may be achieved. This expanded edition features a new analysis by esoteric teacher and author, J. Daniel Gunther, who provides Qabalistic insights into the poem’s extraordinary depth. James Wasserman, a well known writer and student of Crowley, has expanded upon the myth of Marsyas and Olympas, while placing AHA! within the context of Crowley’s overall life and teaching. Frater Achad, one of Crowley’s most important early disciples, wrote an excellent but little-known commentary on AHA! that is included here.

This volume also features an essay by Dr. Israel Regardie, a primary Crowley biographer and spokesman. The poem ends with -

“Blessing and worship to the Beast, the prophet of the Lovely Star.” Henceforth I must be no more an aspirant, no more an adept, no more aught that I could think of as myself. I was the chosen prophet of the Masters, the instrument fit to interpret their idea and work their will.” —Aleister Crowley

THRICE GREAT HERMETICA AND THE JANUS AGE:
Hermetic Cosmology, Finance, Politics and Culture
In the Middle Ages through the Late Renaissance
By Joseph P. Farrell
Paperback: 354 pages
Publisher: Adventures Unlimited Press (September 10, 2014)
List Price: $19.95

FROM THE PUBLISHER:
What do the Fourth Crusade, the exploration of the New World, secret excavations of the Holy Land, and the pontificate of Innocent the Third, all have in common? Answer: Venice and the Templars. What do they have in common with Jesus, Gottfried Leibniz, Sir Isaac Newton, Rene Descartes, and the Earl of Oxford? Answer: Egypt and a body of doctrine known as Hermeticism. In this book, noted author and researcher Joseph P Farrell takes the reader on a journey through the hidden history of the Middle Ages, the Renaissance and early Enlightenment, connecting the dots between Venice, international banking, the Templars, and hidden knowledge, drawing out the connections between the notorious Venetian “Council of Ten,” little known Venetian voyages to the New World, and the sack of Constantinople during the Fourth Crusade. That hidden role of Venice and Hermeticism reached far and wide, into the plays of Shakespeare (a.k.a. Edward DeVere), Earl of Oxford, into the quest of the three great mathematicians of the Early Enlightenment for a lost form of analysis, and back into the end of the classical era, to little known Egyptian influences at work during the time of Jesus.

NEW TAROT AND DIVINATION DECKS:

THE GORGON'S TAROT
by Dolores Fitchie

Hardcover: 208 pages (Book and Deck Set) 79 -6″ x 9″ cards
Publisher: Schiffer Publishing, Ltd.; 1 edition (June 28, 2014)
List Price: $45.00

FROM THE PUBLISHER:
A round, mostly black and white deck with two lurking splashes of color, The Gorgon's Tarot is an innovative and inspired way to read the tarot. With Dolores Fitchie's discreet, tongue-in-cheek humor, it's also engaging and fun to read! The traditional 78-card deck is complemented by an additional Major Arcana card, The Blind Gorgon. This card can be used in a reading as a "wild card," as what some Tarot authors call the significator, or as a general atmosphere-setting concept. Unabashedly feminine and a restrained paean of praise to the animal kingdom, it features a largely female cast, lots of animal companions, commentators, bodyguards and familiars, and a mixed bag of traditional and not-so-traditional imagery, with traces of unorthodoxy here and there. It is suitable for both beginners and experienced readers, and ideal for those who enjoy images with more than one meaning, who can make up their own stories by simply looking at the images. All you need is an uninhibited imagination.

About the Author:
Dolores, aka the Gorgon or Gorgs for short, was born in Spain at a time when the country was straddling a no-man s land between the late middle-ages and recalcitrant proto modernity. In due course she emigrated, travelled for a while and ended up putting down roots in London. To this day she is not sure why she picked London, or allowed herself to sprout roots, for that matter. She lives there with an exasperating chronic illness, two temperamental computers, the numerous creatures that emanate from them, more books than she has shelves for, and interesting wildlife in her garden. She is devoted to her graphics and to the few notions and principles that have survived a life-long habit of reconsidering, adjusting, readjusting and pruning the garden of her intellectual life. She loves animals, art, Flamenco music, good ideas, and the few friends that linger in her ecosystem.
