The Secret Grammar of Magic
By Claude Lecouteux
Paperback: 272
pages

Traditions; 1 edition (December 1, 2013)
List Price:
$19.95
FROM THE
PUBLISHER:
An extensive
study of ancient books of magic and the magical practices preserved in the few
surviving grimoires
• Includes
spells, talisman formulations, and secret magical alphabets reproduced from the
author’s private collection of grimoires, with instructions for their use
• Explains the
basic principles of medieval magic, including the doctrine of names and the
laws of sympathy and contagion
• Offers an
overview of magic in the Western Mystery tradition
Grimoires began
simply as quick-reference “grammar books” for sorcerers, magicians, and priests
before evolving into comprehensive guides to magic, complete with spell-casting
rituals, magical alphabets, and instructions to create amulets and talismans.
With the advent of the printing press, some grimoires were mass produced, but
many of the abbreviations were misinterpreted and magical words misspelled,
rendering them ineffective. The most powerful grimoires remained not only
secret but also heavily encoded, making them accessible only to the highest initiates
of the magical traditions.
Drawing on his
own private collection of grimoires and magical manuscripts as well as his
privileged access to the rare book archives of major European universities,
Claude Lecouteux offers an extensive study of ancient books of magic and the
ways the knowledge within them was kept secret for centuries through symbols,
codes, secret alphabets, and Kabbalistic words. Touching on both white and
black magical practices, he explains the basic principles of medieval magic, including
the doctrine of names and signatures, mastery of the power of images, and the
laws of sympathy and contagion. He gives an overview of magic in the Western
Mystery tradition, emphasizing both lesser-known magicians such as Trithemus
and Peter of Apono and famous ones like Albertus Magnus and Hermes
Trismegistus.
Creating a
universal grimoire, Lecouteux provides exact reproductions of secret magical
alphabets, symbols, and glyphs with instructions for their use as well as an
illustrated collection of annotated spells, rituals, and talismans for numerous
applications including amorous magic, healing magic, and protection rites. The
author also examines the folk magic that resulted when the high magic of the
medieval grimoires melded with the preexisting pagan magic of ancient Europe.

Meditation
exercises for listening to the four levels of sound, to still the body, quiet
the mind, open the heart, and connect with the Divine
• Details the
teachings on nada yoga from the Hatha Yoga Pradipika with clear, step-by-step
instructions to find and hear the inner sacred sound of nada
• Explains the 4
levels of sound through a series of practical meditation exercises
• Includes
instructions for a daily nada yoga meditation practice as well as ways to
strengthen your advanced practice
The ancient
practice of nada yoga is not complex. It is the yoga of listening. It is a
journey from the noise of the external world inward to a place of peace and
bliss, to the source of the transformational power of sound--the nada. By
meditating on the inner sacred sound of the nada, we can release ourselves from
mind chatter and obsessive thinking. We can still the body, quiet the mind, and
open the heart to create a state of mind where joy naturally arises.
Sharing his
experiential understanding of the classic Hatha Yoga Pradipika, Baird Hersey
offers precise, step-by-step instructions on how to find the inner sound of the
nada. He explains the first three levels of sound--first, how to truly hear the
ordinary sounds of the world around us (vaikhari); second, how to quiet the
sounds of the mind (madhyama), such as sound memories and internal dialogue;
and third, how to access visual sounds (pashyanti), tapping in to our ability
to see sounds and hear colors. Mastering the first three levels prepares one
for the fourth level of sound (para), the heart of the practice that connects
one to the inner sound of the nada. The author provides detailed exercises to
guide you through each level of sound and instructions for a daily nada yoga
meditation practice.
Hersey explains
that by focusing our minds on this internal sound we reunite our essential self
with the eternal and infinite. In this re-union we find bliss in both body and
mind, an uplifted spirit, and heightened states of consciousness.

The Greek I Ching

The first
complete guide to this ancient Greek form of divination
• Explains how
to cast and interpret this oracle using either coins or traditional animal
bones
• Reveals how
the use of oracle bones predates the I Ching
• Includes the
complete matrix of oracle interpretations reconstructed by the author from
stanzas in ancient Greek temples
In ancient Greece
methods of foretelling the future were widespread, whether they were official
oracles of the gods or simple dice games to divine one’s luck. One of the most
popular and accessible ways of determining one’s fate and fortune was through
the ritual casting of animal bones, similar to the casting of coins or yarrow
stalks with the Chinese I Ching.
Kostas Dervenis
explains how to interpret the casting of the oracle bones--either traditional
sheep anklebones or coins--to answer your questions on love, health, wealth,
and the future. Using the original stanzas discovered in ancient Greek temples
in Greece and Turkey, the author reconstructs the complete matrix of
interpretation for each possible casting of the bones. He explores how this
practice traces back to the Golden Age of the Neolithic period in Greece,
Turkey, and Bulgaria--predating the I Ching--and how it is still practiced
today as the popular folk game of “knucklebones.”
Providing the
first complete guide to this ancient practice, Dervenis allows anyone to cast
the bones for guidance, inspiration, and insight into their fate.
About the Author:
Kostas Dervenis
is a materials engineer and a martial arts instructor in jujutsu and pammachon.
He is the coauthor of The Martial Arts of Ancient Greece and the author, under
the pen name Kosta Danaos, of Nei Kung and The Magus of Java. He lives in

Ancient History and the Key to Our

The truth behind
ancient myths and the return of the celestial conditions for a Golden Age of
peace and abundance
• Reveals the
events preserved in myth that launched humanity into 12,000 years of struggle,
selfishness, and false beliefs
• Explores how
we can initiate a new Golden Age through ancient Egyptian teachings on the
creative power of our imaginations
• Explains how
our world system of economics, which benefits a few at the expense of the many,
arose as a reaction to global catastrophe in prehistory
Since the
beginning of recorded history humanity has been in a continuous struggle over
land and resources. It continues today despite the abundance we have created
through scientific innovation and technology. Why such a struggle for resources
exists has never been explained. Neither has the human drive to own,
accumulate, and hoard. Edward Malkowski reveals that the answer lies in
recognizing the reality behind humanity’s earliest myths. He shows that the
opportunity is at hand to transcend these inherited selfish traits and return
to a Golden Age of peace and abundance.
Malkowski
explores the hidden meaning behind stories such as the Epic of Gilgamesh,
Plato’s Atlantis, and myths of a new sky and a new sun, of great floods and the
death of the gods, and of the preceding Golden Age. He connects these myths to
a real extinction event that occurred 12,000 years ago. He explains how the
survivors--our ancestors--were catapulted from utopia into a world of scarcity,
scarring the collective mind of humanity and initiating the struggle for
resources in an attempt to regain our lost paradise. He shows how our world
system of economics, focused on ownership and based on the false belief of
separateness--benefitting a few at the expense of the many--arose as a reaction
to this catastrophe.
Drawing on the
pre-catastrophe teachings preserved by the ancient Egyptians, Malkowski reveals
that we are returning to a celestial configuration parallel to that of the past
Golden Age. Through our collective DNA memory and the creative power of our imaginations,
we can end our 12,000-year quest to regain paradise lost and launch a new
Golden Age of unity, abundance, and equality for all humanity.
About the Author:
Edward F.
Malkowski is a historical researcher with a special interest in philosophy,
ancient Egypt, and the development of religious beliefs from ancient to modern
times. He is the author of Ancient Egypt 39,000 BCE, Sons of God--Daughters of
Men, Before the Pharaohs, and The Spiritual Technology of Ancient Egypt. He

Alien Origins and Occult Powers
By Louis Proud
Paperback: 408
pages
Publisher:
Destiny Books; Original edition (December 1, 2013)
List Price:
$19.95
FROM THE PUBLISHER:
The Moon is not
a cold, dead rock but a rich, fascinating world just as alive as Earth…
• Investigates
the Moon as the home of an alien intelligence who controls humanity
• Examines
several of NASA’s Apollo missions and the findings they concealed
• Reveals the
many holes in the “Giant Impact” theory about the Moon’s origins and the
evidence for a hollow, artificial Moon
• Explores the
deep influence of the Moon on the collective mind of humanity and occult
teachings about the Moon from the Qabbalah, tarot, and other sources
Despite being
the most prominent celestial body after the Sun, the Moon has many qualities
that science has yet to explain. Lunar rock samples reveal the Moon once had a
magnetic field like the Earth, and seismic experiments by NASA suggest the Moon
is at least partially hollow. For centuries people have observed lights, moving
clouds and shadows, and even the disappearance of entire craters via telescope.
Apollo astronauts repeatedly felt the presence of a “non-human intelligence”
during their Moon visits, and many indigenous traditions speak of malevolent
visitors from the Moon. A growing body of astrophysical and geological evidence
shows the Moon is not an entirely natural world--that someone or something
altered it long ago.
Louis Proud
explores the phases and movements of the Moon along with its ancient and
mysterious features--its craters, maria, rilles, tunnels, and domes. He
examines several of NASA’s Apollo missions, showing not that NASA faked the
Moon expeditions but that they concealed what the astronauts found there. He
explains the many holes in the commonly accepted “Giant Impact” theory of the
Moon’s origins and reveals the evidence for a hollow, artificial Moon placed in
orbit eons ago to observe Earth. Examining the deep influence of the Moon on
the collective mind of humanity, Proud looks at what the Qabbalah, the tarot,
and other occult traditions say about the Moon and interprets G. I. Gurdjieff’s
teachings that “we are food for the Moon.” He investigates the Moon as a
gateway to another realm, as the Purgatory of Christianity, and as the home of
an alien intelligence who controls and exploits humanity.
Examining the
Moon from both scientific and esoteric perspectives, Proud shows the Moon is
not a cold, dead rock but a rich, fascinating world just as alive as Earth.
