It's that time once again, and the Bards of Caer Pugetia are having a fundraiser to ensure our 2011 park fees can be paid.
As you know, all of our Gorsedds take place in beautiful Seattle public parks including Gasworks Park, Lincoln Park and Volunteer Park. To do this, every year we pay anywhere from $200 to $500.00 or more in Seattle Public Park Fee's. Paying these fee's ensures that we obtain a permit to gather and celebrate, and reserves the space for our Gorsedds.
This year, our fundraiser will be a silent auction. There will be some food, great company and perhaps a bit of spontaneous bardic performance. Many wonderful items have already been donated. Here is just a brief list to whet your appetite:
Celtic Tree Oracle in box with beautiful handmade ogham runestaves (runestaves made by Karl Feret of Rare Earth Designs http://rareearthdesigns.net )
Druid Plant Oracle by Philip & Stephanie Carr-Gomm along with the companion
Druid Animal Oracle - new in box!
Beautiful real emerald necklace (choker length) and matching earrings - imported
from India
A pair of handcrafted earrings made by Niyati Brown
A half hour energy work session by Amy Wolf
A set of 4 season collector's plates
A 1 year subscription to SageWoman, Witches & Pagans, and Crone magazines
..and more!
If you have something to donate, please contact caerpugetia1@hotmail.com.
The fundraiser will take place in the basement room at:
Edge of The Circle Books
on Wednesday, December 1, 2010
from 7:00 - 8:30 pm.
P.S. Would you like to become more involved with an incredible group of people? Would you like to know your efforts and time go towards something fulfilling? Would you like to know you are making a difference? Thank email us about becoming the new Secretary! WE NEED YOU!
Come and support this gorsedd of bards! Many thanks one and all.
Thanks bunches for your help.
