TUBELO'S GREEN FIRE:
MYTHOS, ETHOS, FEMALE, MALE & PRIESTLY MYSTERIES OF THE CLAN OF TUBAL CAIN
by Shani Oates,
Publisher: Mandrake of Oxford
List Price: $22.99
This book explores historical and contemporary ideas of witchcraft through the perspective of the Clan of Tubal Cain - a closed Initiatory group aligned to the Shadow Mysteries within the Luciferian stream. As students of arte we mediate the ancestral stream, teaching through practice with the sacred tenets of Truth, Love and Beauty.
The Word is thus manifest in deed and vision.
“A driving thirst for knowledge is the forerunner of wisdom. Knowledge is a state that all organic life posesses, wisdom is the reward of the spirit, gained in the search for knowledge. Truth is variable – what is true now, will not be true tomorrow, since the temporal truths are dependent upon ethics and social mores – therefore wisdom is possibly eternal Truth, untouched by man’s condition. So we must come to the heart of the People, a belief that is based upon Eternity, and not upon social needs or pressures – the ‘witch’ belief then is concerned with wisdom, our true name, then is the wise people and wisdom is our aim.”

He goes over the basics of his personal Path, along with examples of alternatives from other traditions, covering philosophy, lore and practical techniques. MICHAEL PSELLUS ON THE OPERATION
By:Stephen Skinner, Marcus Collisson

Michael Constantine Psellus (1018 – 1178 C.E) was one of the most notable writers and philosophers of the Byzantine era. The Byzantine domain was effectively the eastern Greek speaking part of the Roman Empire centred on Byzantium (Constantinople, modern Istanbul) which split off from the Latin West in 364 C.E. Its intellectual legacies helped lay the foundations for the Italian Renaissance.
It was the fall of Constantinople in 1453 that released a tide of Greek reading scholars into Western Europe, particularly Venice. With them came much of the magical and Hermetic knowledge which the Greeks in their turn had inherited from the Egyptians. The Key of Solomon was one such text. It is therefore essential to the understanding of such magical texts that one understands exactly how the Byzantines understood the nature of daemons. Psellus forms the bridge between the ancient world, Byzantine Greek, and the grimoire conception of the nature of daemons.
Hailing from Constantinople, Psellus’ career was an illustrious and practical one, serving as a political advisor to a succession of emperors, playing a decisive role in the transition of power between various monarchs. He became the leading professor at the newly founded University of Constantinople, bearing the honourary title, ‘Consul of the Philosophers’. He was the driving force behind the university curriculum reform designed to emphasize the Greek classics, especially Homeric literature. Psellus is credited with the shift from Aristotelian thought to the Platonist tradition, and was adept in politics, astronomy, medicine, music, theology, jurisprudence, physics, grammar and history.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Stephen Skinner began his career as a Geography lecturer and magazine publisher, but his long term interest has always been Western magic.
During the 1970s he was the driving force behind Askin Publishers, producing a number of classic magical works by Cornelius Agrippa, Paracelsus, Austin Osman Spare, Aleister Crowley, and others. During the 1970s he co-wrote many books with Francis King, including the still popular Techniques of High Magic. Also with Francis King he wrote Nostradamus. His interest in prophecy stimulated by this book, he went on to write the best selling Millennium Prophecies.
Stephen is credited with bringing the art of Feng Shui to the West, and in 1976 he wrote the Living Earth Manual of Feng Shui, which was the first English book on feng shui in the 20th century.
Stephen has written more than 20 books, which have been published worldwide in 17 different languages. These books have had introductions by such diverse people as Colin Wilson, HRH Charles Prince of Wales, and Jimmy Choo, shoe designer to the stars.
Stephen lives in Johor Bahru near Singapore.
OCCULT FUNDAMENTALS AND SPIRITUAL UNFOLDMENT-
VOL. 1: THE EARLY WRITINGS
Paul Foster Case (Author), Paul A. Clark (Introduction), Tony DeLuce (Foreword)
Paperback: 224 pages
Publisher: Fraternity of the Hidden Light (October 12, 2008)
List Price: $19.95
Shortly after leaving the Alpha et Omega (MacGregor Mather's reformulation of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn), Paul Foster Case developed a lecture series entitled "The First Year Course". The purpose of the lectures was to provide students with a firm foundation in spiritual science and practice and to prepare them for Paul Case's rendition of the Golden Dawn Order.
When this coursework was expanded in 1924, the contents of the "The First Year Course" became known as Section A, `The Life Power', and Section B,`The Seven Steps of Spiritual Unfoldment'. The `Life Power' provided a firm foundation of Occult Fundamentals and the `The Seven Steps of Spiritual Unfoldment' utilized the Major Arcana of the Tarot to communicate the stages of Spiritual Evolution.
The early writings of Paul Foster Case are exceptionally clear and represent some of his finest work. Anyone approaching these lessons for the first time are encouraged to spend at least two weeks on each before proceeding to the next. This is precisely the manner in which the lectures and lessons were intended to be assimilated. Paul Case utilizes images in addition to words to communicate principles. Proceeding in such a manner will allow the corresponding ideas to take root and mature and thus facilitate understanding of the next lesson in the series.
ESOTERIC SECRETS OF MEDITATION AND MAGIC -
VOLUME 2: THE EARLY WRITINGS
By Paul Foster Case (Author), Paul A. Clark (Introduction), Tony DeLuce (Foreword)
Paperback: 192 pages
Publisher: Fraternity of the Hidden Light (January 12, 2009)
List Price: $19.95
In 1924, Paul Foster Case expanded his First Year Course by developing two advanced lecture series which he entitled Section C: ‘Concentration’ and Section D: ‘Magic’. The lectures built upon the material in the ‘First Year Course’(which had become known at this time as Section A:‘The Life Power’ and Section B: ‘The Seven Steps to Spiritual Unfoldment’). The Fraternity of the Hidden Light has recently published both of these lecture series as “Occult Fundamentals and Spiritual Unfoldment - Volume 1: The Early Writings.” This current volume provides the two additional lecture series that complete the original fundamental course structure of Paul Case. Section C, ‘Concentration’, expounds the esoteric secrets of Meditation. This section is a very advanced series of lessons that not only develops the essential skill of concentration but commences the student upon the‘Path of Return’ with a series of powerful “Qabalistic Meditations.” These Meditations have a tendency to facilitate deep spiritual experience in those who are prepared and chose to participate. This lesson series indeed represents some of the most advanced material written by Paul Case. Section D, ‘Magic’, provides the esoteric secrets of Magic in a very rare exposition of the fundamental tenets of magical practice by one of the greatest occultists of the 20th century. Here again is material published by Paul Case that cannot be found in any of his later developed lesson series and provides insight into the “tools of the trade” practiced by Golden Dawn enthusiasts today.
THE LOST ART OF ENOCHIAN MAGIC:
ANGELS, INVOCATIONS, AND THE SECRETS REVEALED TO DR. JOHN DEE
John DeSalvo Ph.D. (Author), Lon Milo DuQuette (Foreword)
Paperback: 232 pages
Publisher: Destiny Books; Pap/Com edition (May 14, 2010)
List Price: $16.95
A practical guide to Dr. John Dee’s angelic magic
• Contains instructions for performing Enochian magic meditations
• Examines John Dee’s original diaries from the British Library
• Includes a CD of Enochian calls taught to Dee by the angels
Enochian magic is a powerful, ancient system for opening portals to heavenly realms and enabling the ascent to God. The basis for many of the modern systems of magic, including the Golden Dawn, Enochian magic is named after the biblical prophet Enoch, who received the same knowledge and wisdom that was later conveyed to the astrologer to the court of Queen Elizabeth I, Dr. John Dee, by angels in the 16th century.
In The Lost Art of Enochian Magic John DeSalvo traces the history of magic--from the earliest civilizations of the Akadians and Egyptians through the Greco-Roman period and up to the present time--to reveal how magic has penetrated and influenced our religious beliefs and practices today. Through his unprecedented investigation into the angelic magic of Dr. John Dee, during which time he deciphered Dee’s original phonetic notations in the margins of Dee’s 16th-century diaries, DeSalvo learned to properly reproduce the “Enochian calls,” which act like mantras in opening higher realms and invoking angels, key to this type of magical practice. DeSalvo shows how to use Enochian magic for personal spiritual development and also as protection from negative energies. In addition to providing detailed instructions for performing the magical meditations, this book includes a CD of Enochian calls to demonstrate and guide the correct pronunciation needed to practice Enochian magic.

FIRE FROM THE CAULDRON
By Shon Clark
Paperback: 142 pages
Publisher: Megalithica Books (January 26, 2010)
List Price : $19.99
Fire from the Cauldron is a bold step for Craft teachings. It takes traditional Craft teachings and blends them with stories of the Goddess Aradia and the God Cernunnos. The result is a series of Pathworkings (deep guided-meditation) that are designed to teach Craft wisdom to the "inner" or deeply intuitive part of the student. The goal is to create a profound link or bond with the student and the Gods. This link will help the student to take their own personal Craft to a new level because they will be able to draw from the essence of Craft, itself. This book is a call for the leaders and teachers of Craft. It is time for our faith to stand beside the other faith traditions of the world. It is time to stop seeing our tradition as one who stands in the back of the room, while the others are having a grand banquette. We need to stand at the table with the other traditions. In order for us to do this, we need teaching aids that allow us to deepen our Craft. This is one such aid. The pathworkings allow the pathwalker to stand with Cernunnos as he grows from the wild-child of the forest into an unlikely King and again when he gives up his life to become the Lord of Death and Resurrection. They also show the pathwalker the birth of the Star Goddess, join her as she teaches humanity the ways of Craft and see her loss as she sacrifices her Beloved so that the people might live.
WOMEN'S VOICES IN MAGIC
By Brandy Williams (Editor)
Paperback: 202 pages
Publisher: Megalithica Books (November 30, 2009)
Magical cultures like all communities encode expectations about gender. Women are witches; men are magicians. Women use receptive energy, men use active energy. Intuitive women embody the moon, focus on dreaming and enjoy making things, while intellectual men embody the sun, focus on accomplishment, and enjoy doing ritual. The essays in this book explode gender stereotypes and survey the spectrum of women's experiences in magic. Women are witches, but also ceremonial magicians, Satanists and sex magicians. Women dream, use intuition and make magical tools but they also argue, create ritual, and fiercely contest their right to achievement. In these essays, pregnancy is an occasion for analysis, alchemy exists in the lab and in the kitchen, desire is a path to self-knowledge, and gender itself is a door to the deep contemplation of the meaning of magic. In this book women's voices whisper their secret experiences, narrate lives of women magicians in the past, speak of the usual and the unusual, roar their triumphal discoveries, and sing the joy of life.

TAROT READINGS /SPIRITUAL ADVICE
Tarot readings by Erica (Raven) Branch-Butler
“ I've been reading Tarot for more than thirty years, and reading professionally at the Edge for nearly a decade. My belief is that Tarot is best used for putting you in touch with your own subconscious, allowing you to make healthy decisions that can change your life for the better. My readings tend to be rather commonsensical (hence the name) and are geared toward helping the client circumvent the often self-imposed obstacles in their lives, so that they can achieve their goals and fully enjoy the fruits that life has to bring.”
Please inquire about Tarot Parties, classes and other events.
Available every day except Tuesday, 12:30-8.30PM.

Every Tuesday from 12:30-8:30 PM
“I've been reading cards for 20 years and doing readings professionally for nine. I've been reading cards at folk life and Bumbershoot for nine years along with various fairs and festivals on the west coast.
I believe the tarot works as an interpersonal growth tool that on some levels works like the childhood game of "broken telephone." Everyone of the 78cards in a tarot deck have a central meaning. Depending on where they fall in a spread, how they are dignified, and any colloquial non-sequiturs that happen to come out of my mouth create a personalized story of what's going on in ones life. The cards are great about "speaking" of the past and present. They can pick up on energies that are starting to manifest in ones life but ultimately after a reading is over everyone has free will and it is their choice how they deal with those energies. My job as a reader is multifaceted, from channel to help alleviate blocks; to sounding board as a listener. I've found that I get a wonderful thankful response from people I've given readings to.”
